Chill Ear Warmer

A perfect ear warmer for a brisk walk, a romp in the snow, or - the way I use it - for recess duty. This pattern is the knit sister of the Laid Back Ear Warmer. This 1x1 rib pattern is the perfect quick, mindless project. If crochet is more your thing, get the Laid Back Ear Warmer pattern for the same look in crochet.

After I played around with this yarn in crochet and loved the look and feel of the 1x1 imitation rib in crochet, it was only logical to make a knit version.

For the knit version, I chose Yarn Bee Fleece Lite in Seaglass. It's such a beautiful blue with tan and mocha threaded through. It compliments the Sweet Mocha I used for crochet so well because of the unifying mocha tones.

It is a bulky yarn, but there's a lot of air in this yarn making it perfect for filling spaces between stitches without making this a stiff ear warmer.

MATERIALS:

• 1 ball of Yarn Bee Fleece Lite

• Size US 15 ( mm) knitting needles (straight or circular, your choice!)

• Tapestry Needle
